According to Wikipedia, Kokopelli is “a fertility deity, usually pictured as a hump backed flute player who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States.”

Kokopelli is not only known as the fertility god, but also as a prankster, healer, and storyteller. His hunched form and flute playing indicate that he is a music making, dancing, and joyous figure. Carvings of Kokopelli are up to 3,000 years old, and Kokopelli is one of the few deities to have an established gender. For a more in-depth look on the history of Kokopelli, you can click here.
